Real Time Image Captures





















Kismet is scripting within Unreal tournament and is used to generate objects, telling them what to do although I found that a lot of kismet elements crossed over with matinee in UT3. I used Kismet in this game to help create the atmosphere through lighting. I tested various lights during my experimental stage and they were brought into the game. Various types of lighting were used in order to set up the playful atmosphere in the UT3 environment. It added more variety and user-interactivity to the game and I believed it could be used as a navigational tool. Coloured and flashing lights help users with navigation, because when people got lost in the map, lights they turned on indicate they had been.
